In business since 1979, RFI is a leader in the integrated security and life safety solutions industry. Innovation and experience enable RFI to create safe, secure, and healthy business environments for their clients.
The concept of family is at the heart of RFI. Dee Ann Harn, the company’s 2nd generation CEO, was looking for a way to ensure the feeling of connection wasn’t lost as the impacts of COVID-19 saw office staff move to remote work, reducing their contact with field technicians and engineer teams.
RFI uses the phrase internally, ”big enough to matter, small enough to care”. They needed a solution that brought all their office and field employees into a single resource as both a visual reference and as a resource to help people get to know one another. Also giving all RFI employees access to contact details - as technician teams in the field are often only available via their mobile devices.
Names & Faces is making an impact at RFI by providing new joiners, managers, and field teams with immediate context on who’s who across teams - both in and out of the office. The leadership team can confidently engage with teams at any location, knowing who’s who immediately. The employee directory is helping improve communication by enabling access to team contacts - often adding clarity to unknown calls or texts in the moment.
“We have people with nearly 40 years of tenure at RFI so culture is important to me. Names & Faces helps me every day, whether visiting different locations and seeing who's on site or finding the right contact number to congratulate new parents.”
Dee Ann Harn, CEO, RFI Enterprises
